THE CERVANTES FARM

This was the first farm we modelled in San Simon, Pampanga, the 3.2 hectares of Cervantes planted with inbred palay. When we arrived at the scene, the seedlings were already 7 days old after transplanting.

I actually demonstrated the first spraying, at the same time teaching the farmers how to spray effectively.
Since the seedlings are so young, we recommended to mix 28 tbspn per 16 liter backpack sprayer.




After 10 days of the first spraying, we visited the farm and here is the result, a healthy bluish green plant.
