DIAMANTE TOMATOES
INBRED RC 18 PALAY

TFMF is a family cooperative who leased a 1.5 hectare of farmland in San Matias, Sta. Rita last June 2008.

They partnered with Benny Taruc, the seasoned farmer of San Matias.

The 7,000 sq. meters was planted with Inbred palay RC 18 while the other portion of the land was planted with Diamante tomatoes and Django Sili.

The tomatoes were transplanted in 49 plots covered with mulching sheet while the sili were plotted in 43 plots.

Also shown is the palay seedlings ready to be transplanted.



The palay seedlings and tomatoes were sprayed by BPN to avoid stress during planting.

The cooperative plan is to plant Sweet 18 watermelon in October after the harvest of the first 3 crops and Hybrid palay during January of 2009.
