INDANG PACING farm

February 04/April 2007

THE INDANG PACING FARM
San Simon, Pampanga

During the hunt for model farm when we started to operate in Central Luzon, we found the Indang Pacing farm, a 3 hectare farmland in San Simon, Pampanga.

I demonstrated the double density farming, the method of planting 6" x 6" , then adding two hills facing the east and crossing the west hills.

Indang Pacing is an old maid who never attend to farming but because she inheritted the farm from her father, she was forced to go out and supervise the planting. I gave her my word that we will help her to manage her farm.

As you can see, the seedlings were 10 days old when we supervise the first spraying.

This is the result of the first spraying after 8 days, bluish green plant, healthy, ready to produce heavy tillers.

Many farmers adjoining her farm used to laugh at her during their usual morning meetings because she was the only one spraying the palay, all are sowing Urea and Triple 14 on their farmland.

This is the results of the Indang Pacing farm, healthy full of grains panicles.

Looking at a far distance, you can distinguish her farm, the bluish green farm at the middle of the yellow farmland owned by the farmers who laughed at her during the spraying of BPN.
